2025 | 12′ Live electronics + live visuals – 4ch
A multimedia stream generated by a single source avoiding artefacts and transcending our limited and fragmented perception of the world by letting the signal manifest through different mediums. Every instant exists in a fleeting “in-between” across 24 definite states. The composition dwells in instability, embracing the chaotic behaviours that emerge between preset boundaries. The work is inspired by Jaap Vink (1930–2023) and his voltage-controlled soundscapes. Starting from his analogue techniques, I adapted them into Max MSP, expanding them with digital processes that allow new layers of unpredictability and depth.
It has been premiered at the Sonology Discussion Concert on October 15th in Conservatoriumzaal at Amare (The Hague).
